Personal and Professional Training Courses  

In response to the Coronavirus, our training courses continue to occur through ZOOM. Registration is available on this page.  You can book a time to use one of our computers, allowing you to attend. 

Employment-related training is offered for FREE. These courses are open to OSP clients and to any Edmonton job-seeker with barriers.

Attending ZOOM training is an excellent way to enhance your knowledge and to stay connected with others in the community during these times of social distancing.

Professional Development Training

Professional Development courses are designed to provide participants with the practical skills needed for employment. Our seminars include access to computer stations to develop resumes and cover letters, and how to use new strategies for job searching.

These no-cost courses are hosted by a highly qualified career engagement facilitator dedicated to helping OSP clients find suitable jobs.

Our employment training includes resume building and creative cover letter writing, job search strategies, and tips on researching employers.

Personal Development Training

Personal Development courses are designed to help those individuals who are returning to work, improve their ability to cope with the daily pressures of life and work.  We know that although exciting, returning to work can create fear, stress, anxiety, depression and more, so we have designed a number of training courses to assist.

Our courses teach the skills needed to help with managing stress, dealing with conflict and much more.  You will learn valuable tactics to reduce stress, deal with a variety of people and situations and to self-advocate, just to mention a few.

These seminars are offered at no cost to people who want to improve their understanding of how to manage life and work.
